We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Material Handler.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Receives and/or ships materials to include packaging, labeling and staging
  • Verifies quantities of incoming and outgoing materials
  • Responsible for loading and unloading material
  • Assists technicians and operators with the movement of materials
  • Assists with the movement of materials in shop floor system
  • Conducts visual mechanical inspection to identify cosmetic issues
  • May use isopropyl alcohol or similar substances to clean products
  • Notes condition of units using necessary paperwork
  • May perform some data entry and filing
  • Performs housekeeping duties; such as cleaning, sweeping and organizing material to maintain a safe working environment
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

  • High school diploma preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience within material handling preferred, but not required
  • Able to utilize manual moving equipment including; pallet jacks, carts, scissor lifts, etc.
  • Must be able to use a computer
  • Must be able to work with isopropyl alcohol or similar products, as required for cleaning purposes
  • Familiarity with 5s preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with general supervision

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

  • Lift/Carry up to 20lbs
  • Push/pull up to 20lbs
  • Stand/walk for 8 hours
  • Frequent bending, stoop, twisting, and crouching
