Job Description
We are seeking an early career professional with expertise in systems engineering to support our NASA client with their efforts to support the nascent AAM ecosystem of manufacturers, operators, regulators, local communities, and other stakeholders. If you are skilled in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and want to further your career by supporting leading-edge R&D, this is the opportunity for you.
Our preference is for the successful candidate to reside in the Washington D.C. metro area to be able to attend in-person meetings at NASA HQ as needed; however, we will consider candidates from outside the area.
Compensation: $85,000 - $125,000 / Annual salary based on skills and experience.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree
- 1 – 5 years of experience is desirable. We will also consider recent college graduates who have relevant academic, internship, and/or cooperative education experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, as are data analysis skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience in MBSE and SysML, particularly with Dassault Systemes CATIA MagicDraw / Cameo
- Expertise in developing and modeling use cases and concepts of operations to support systems engineering and portfolio analysis
- Familiarity / experience in advanced air mobility (AAM) is a plus
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is required
