Description

CoVantage Credit Union is seeking an Executive Assistant to the President. The individual that holds this critical role assists the Chief Executive Officer with administrative duties and special projects. They also will interact with the Board of Directors, management, staff, member-owners, and third parties so as to support the credit union’s mission, culture, and strategic and operating plan.

Job duties

  • Works on projects that require independent thought, competence, a high degree of professionalism, as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Crafts communication that is consistent with the credit union’s mission and strategic direction.
  • Schedules travel arrangements and registration of conferences for the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors.
  • Helps manage the Chief Executive Officer’s schedule.
  • Performs administrative functions including general filing, maintaining confidential records for the management team.
  • Serves as the liaison between the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors, Executives, employees, and members when requested.
  • Maintains a system of organizing and prioritizing responsibilities so all assigned duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of member, employee, and credit union information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.  
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Well-developed secretarial skills with software programs such as Microsoft Office and Windows operating system.
  • High level of professional, organizational, and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
