19 April 2024Arizona Centers for Digestive Health is looking for a full-time Scheduler to join our dedicated team in Gilbert, Arizona.
About the Opportunity
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling appointments, patient registration, medical chart maintenance and the coordination of patient referrals for our Gilbert office. Other roles and responibilities include:
- Data entry of new patient information and updates
- Obtains authorization / referral information for office visits / procedures
- Verifying patient eligibility
- Maintaining open communication between support staff, providers, and ASC staff
About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must be competent in the use of basic office equipment including computer, printer, telephone and fax.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and remain poised and professional when interacting with potentially hostile patients and family members.
- Must possess excellent clerical and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare experience within a practice or ASC setting
- Experience with gastroenterology patients and procedures
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are strongly preferred
