ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contact potential service center engine customers with the goal of generating business.
- Respond to inquiries and follow up with potential service center and engine overhaul customers. Utilize appropriate sales techniques to clearly differentiate Continental Services.
- Respond to RFQs with detailed quotations by telephone or email. Generate written correspondence and quotes. Provide appropriate data and related product information.
- Communicate with customers during each phase of the sales process until product delivered. Provide special information on prices, completion times and specific aircraft or engine and component information.
- Prepare order forms, collect deposits and place orders.
- Update and maintain customer data base.
- Must be able to succinctly communicate with the customer. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Schedule with Service center leads on aircraft maintenance and engine shop scheduling team.
- Be able to read and understand manufacturers IPCs tp assist in kitting and prepping engines for customer service center.
- Must be able to handle a large volume of calls and/or inquiries in a professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
FAA Private pilots license and/or FAA A&P
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
