Description

The Safety Internship Program is a 12-week summer opportunity designed for college students interested in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS). Interns gain hands-on experience in the field, working alongside experienced safety professionals and contributing to real-world safety initiatives that make a meaningful impact.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Gain a strong understanding of safety practices and principles through training and field exposure.

  • Assist with implementing safety protocols and procedures across diverse work environments.

  • Participate in inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to help identify and mitigate risks.

  • Engage in professional development activities to build a strong foundation for a career in EHS.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program such as Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or Construction Management.
  • Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Demonstrated interest in environmental health, safety, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
