This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), night shift (7p - 7a) Registered Nurse position in the Nurse Float Pool Departments.
The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
Minimum Required: RN License required, BSN Preferred. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire and ACLS, NPR, and STABLE required within six (6) months of hire. Must have one (1) year of Acute Care experience. Must have one (1) year experience in pediatric, women & children’s or newborn nursery areas. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred / Desired: Prefer two (2) to five (5) years of Acute Care experience.
Weekend Requirements: Perm MNA Contract.
