This is a full time (0.8 - 0.1 Status) day shift LPN position in CPG North Primary Care clinic.
The LPN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor and positive role model and teacher for assistive personnel. The LPN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions and pharmacological agents.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. Licensed or eligible for licensing in State of Montana as a Licensed Practical Nurse. One (1) year of acute care nursing experience required. Current BLS upon hire, Healthcare Provider BLS within 3 months of hire. Proficiency in English, verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
Preferred/Desired: Recent hospital experience preferred. Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS upon hire preferred.
On-Call/Weekend Requirements: None.
