General Summary
Responsible for developing and applying advanced techniques in the investigation and solution of advanced Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) requirements and problems.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Design, develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure that includes Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) network, hardware, database, and/or system software components.
- Perform advanced technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and evaluate alternatives of Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
- Analyze and resolve difficult and complicated Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) program support deficiencies.
- Guide configuration, debugging, and support for Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) infrastructure and ensure all quality and change control standards are met.
- Coordinate efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) projects.
- Review Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) literature and plans and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
- Review Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and make recommendations to management.
- May evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services
- Develop Facility Related Control System (FRCS) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) tactics, techniques, and procedures and standard operating procedures.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field such as information systems, engineering, or other related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10-15 years related experience
- Demonstrated experience with Facility and Industrial Control Systems
- Ability to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance; US citizenship required
- Ability to work on-site on Redstone Arsenal 20%
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications
- Tridium technical certification(s)
- SEL SDN Network Training
- Familiar with Modbus, BACNET, LON/iLON
- Experience with MDMS
- Contractor Field Test (CFT)/Production Verification Test (PVT) experience
- Active secret clearance
