General Summary
Performs duties under direct to moderate supervision in a particular core competency or business function of COLSA's Contracts Department.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Assists with a wide range of duties in the field *
- Assists with creation and analysis of routine projects, programs, policies and procedures *
- Performs assigned intern projects and follows them to completion *
- Supports more experienced personnel *

Required Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Contracts Administration or Business Administration
- Must be willing and able to commute to Huntsville, AL Corporate Office at his/her own expense for duration of internship
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- US Citizenship required. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background investigation prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous project or work experience in Contracts
