Role : Systems Engineer

Duation : 12 Months

Rate : $50/hr on C2H (Max)

Job description :

Required Skills- Understanding of Big Data and other features within Big Data Space (ex. NoSQL, Hive, Hadoop, etc…)

Understanding of implementing new systems

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis; in lieu of degree additional years of experience may be substituted.
Ability to assess possible architectural limitations or shortcomings in such areas as scaling, speed, and throughput
Developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale programs
Developing documentation required to support a program’s technical issues and training situations
Developing, delivering, testing, and supporting integrated hardware and software systems with functional requirements within a CMMI Level 3 process structure
Must have experience working with and providing technical support to developers
Must have the ability to absorb and learn applications and integration capabilities quickly
Understanding of Big Data and other features within Big Data Space (ex. NoSQL, Hive, Hadoop, etc…)

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years’ experience as a team lead
Experience with Project Management
Experience in architecture definition and design of solutions incorporating Hadoop and MapReduce frameworks
Developing solutions integrating and extending COTS products
Integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors
Experience with security tools such as Nessus, ArcSight, and Tripwire
