As Lead System Architect (LSA), you will be responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of PEGA based solutions. You are accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements. You bring advanced knowledge of the PEGA Architecture and all PEGA design and implementation features and you provide thought-leadership to fellow team members and the customer across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements. You are the technical leader of a (international) project team, responsible for mentoring and monitoring of the quality of team member’s deliverables including partners and other DLL members. Needless to say, you are customer focused, an excellent and effective communicator across all audiences.
Furthermore your responsibilities are:
- Scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, system integration testing, UAT and deployment support.
- Ensuring delivered solutions meet technical and functional requirements involving quality assurance.
- Providing technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation.
- Managing both scope and risk based on advanced functional and technical in-sight, in collaboration with project team.
- Leading continuous development and implementation of best practices, standards and associated expert services within delivery teams and existing projects.
- Performing consultancy and support to project teams when applying best practices, like reuse.
- Focusing on customer success (realization of business benefit)
Your Profile:
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience leading PEGA design projects
- Lead System Architect Certified
- Experience in analysis, design, development and application deployment of large scale Java centric enterprise application systems.
- Experience in J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), Oracle and/or DB2 and MS/SQL
- Experience in WebSphere or WebLogic Application Server
- Strong OO experience
- Pega Solution and Architecture of Enterprise Solution Design
- Conflict management and negotiating skills
- Interpersonal skills with diverse audiences (Higher management and customers)
