Responsibilities

• Architect and develop front end web applications, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC’s)

• Given an initial set of functional requirements and wireframes, develop technical specifications, and project test plans

• Be the technical subject matter expert(SME) for Angularjs and the project front end effort. Mentor fellow developers in these aspects, demonstrating technical

• expertise, and solving challenging programming and design problems

• Roughly 60-80% hands-on coding. We have a designer for the CSS3/HTML5 work

• Generate technical documentation and PowerPoint presentations to communicate architectural and design options, and to educate development teams and business users

• Resolve defects during QA testing, UAT, production, and post-release patches

• Work with a cross-functional team including product management, business analysts, QA, stakeholders and business units

• Demonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, web apps

• Maintain all work in a SVN version control repository

• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional development on a commercial component or product

• 5+ years’ experience building world class, public facing web applications.

·Expert in HTML5, AJAX, the DOM, JavaScript and JS libraries, HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, W3C standards and compliance requirements

• Expert in Javascript frameworks like Jquery, Knockout, Angularjs, Bootstrap, RequireJS, etc.

• Extensive knowledge of and experience in JSON, RESTful Web Service Calls, XML, SOAP Web Service Calls, all in the context of Angularjs

• Experience in large scale single page applications

·In depth understanding of Unit Testing for the front end domain. Must have used at least one Javascript Testing Framework like Qunit, JSUnit or Jasmine.

·Experience and understanding of service oriented architectures (SOA), Object Oriented Design/Development, Continuous Integration.

• Understand Security within Web Service concepts,

• Know REST, SOAP, and XML/JSON business object representations.

·Expertise in N-Tier and MVC frameworks.

·Able to work in an Agile SDLC using scrum methodology.

·Ability to handle a fast paced environment for iterative project turnarounds on mission revenue critical, customer facing applications and websites

• BS or MS in Computer Science or relevant experience
