Required Skills- SQL

Business Intelligence Analyst 

This role requires a combined skill of 40% into Business Analysis and 60% into Data Analysis. 

Basic qualifications: 
1. Total of 8+ years of experience in IT with 4+ years of experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases in writing complex SQL queries 
2. Ability to understand data models and design business Intelligence reports from data warehouses 
3. BRD creation, Data mapping, Design document creation, and UAT testing, and documentation 
4. Ability to communicate well with various business partners. 
Job Responsibility: 
• This primarily supports data management and business rules when transferring data between systems within the data governance group. 
• Manage delivery of DQS initiative working with Technology team resources and Wholesale QA testing group and other Business analysts of iHub. 
• Evaluates and designs data mapping logic to support governance and overall data quality management goals. 
• Ability to write BRDs to transform complex data issues as exceptions 
• Work with our internal customers to understand, analyze and document business requirements. 
• Support internal customers in resolving application issues, assessing user needs, providing training and recommending system changes. 
• Act as a liaison to Test enhancements and system fixes 
• Adhere to data governance standards and procedures. 
• May oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements. 
• Ability to engage the SMEs to understand the processes, apply data profiling insights and able to design rules logic by aggregating the information.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience using MS Excel and SQL Server as a tool for data analysis

• Strong analytical skills, ability to understand data model ER diagrams and design solutions to fix data issues

• Excellent data interpretation and presentation skills

• Self-motivated and Good leadership skills

• Prior experience in bank working with exception management
