Information Security and Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain solutions to support key business needs
Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
Engineer Web Pages, Core Components and Common Services based upon pre-defined development models, languages and standards
Produce Functional System Design Documents
Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams and code comments
Debug and document existing systems through code analysis

Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of significant experience in application development using C# and ASP.NET
Minimum 2 years of experience developing web applications using ASP.NET MVC and the Razor syntax
Proficient with Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) Methodologies like Test-Driven Development, Security Testing and Code Reviews
Broad knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design and design patterns
Experience in various web software development technologies, including HTML 5, JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
Strong understanding of software versioning principles and tools (SVN, TFS, etc)
Adept at writing relational database queries and stored procedures (especially with regards to Microsoft SQL Server)”, with experience in query optimization and performance tuning
Great written and communication skills

Experience in the following would be beneficial:

Design / Development of UX/UI for analytical data and dashboard reporting
Implementation/Optimization of LINQ queries utilizing Entity Framework
Design / Development of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) services
Developing Windows Services, Web Services, Restful Services and/or WCF Services
IIS Setup, Configuration and/or Maintenance
Experience with Scripting (Perl, PowerShell, etc.)
Experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders
