Job Description :

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain Linux-based scripts, as well as REST and SOAP services for internal and external customers
Prepare test plans, documentation, and deployment plans
Analyze business requirements to implement server-side business logic
Clarify customer requirements and evaluate alternative solutions
Design database schema, build supporting infrastructure, and develop application code
Provide open source technical support and research open source technologies to provide leadership in developing service applications

Required Skills:

Ability to perform object-oriented analysis and design
Knowledge of how to implement design patterns in languages like Java
Experience with Java, Hibernate, and UML
Experience building test suites with automation tools like JUnit, TestNG, and Arquillian
Ability to develop applications working in an Agile development environment
Background in MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, or similar NoSQL databases
Knowledge of or hands-on experience with a distributed source control system like Git or Subversion
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or another closely related field
Experience performing Linux administration is a plus
Experience with Oracle PL and SQL, MySQL, Selenium, and Puppet is preferred
Hands-on experience with XML and XSD is a plus
