Our client is actively seeking a Dot Net Web Applications Developer. This is a 6 month contract, possible right to hire after 6 months for their Parsippany NJ location. Candidate must have good Communication/Negotiations: effectively uses teamwork skills to interact and collaborate on articulating and comparing alternative approaches to software engineering technical issues, positively contributes to a high-morale/high-performance team culture and effectively communicates technical and product knowledge and negotiates technical issues within and across work teams.

What our client is looking for in your current assignment MUST BE USING:

• Very proficient with creating/modifying API’s. First assignment will be to work with results which come back from an API and evaluate those results and display to the User on a web page.
• VB.net
• Dot Net Framework 3.5, we would consider 2.0 if they had other strengths
• MS SQLServer 2008 or higher.
• Must be able to work with Stored Procedures, preferably can create with little guidance.
• Must be able to be part of an existing, established Team without upsetting the makeup of the Team.
• Must be actively working on Websites running under IIS and know what version of IIS they are using
• Experience in using SSIS to load flat files into a database and execute stored procedures within SSIS.(ETL process)
• Source code control with either VSS or TFS

 Nice to have skillset:

• Telerik or Infragistics user control usage.
• Interfaced with Financial packages passing or receiving data from package.
