Description: * The Security Engineer II - Database Security Specialist will provide operational support for various database security initiatives. As a member of the Security Operations Center's engineering group the incumbent will plan, implement, tune and monitor database security tools to ensure the highest levels of security are maintained for protected information.

Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and develop security solutions to meet CareFirsts business and technology goals.
Strong written documentation skills and technical writing are required.
Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively complete tasks with a minimal level of supervision.
Critical skills:
Develop and implement a database security framework to ensure consistent application of data security standards are met.
2 years of experience with the Guardium system version 8 or 9 including implementation, administration, and operational support (preferred).
Must have hands-on experience with Data Activity Monitor (DAM), Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Dynamic Data Masking (DDM).
Experience with database encryption and tokenization.
Integration experience with IBM Radar highly desirable.
Integration experience with F5 ASM for end-to-end database security is also highly desirable.
Investigate and report on security alerts and perform security incident reporting.
Knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux
Expert knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL and DB2,
Knowledge of SQL language, Data Modeling, Database Catalogs, Schema
Programming skills and scripting experience (Python preferred)
Experience with other database monitoring or system monitoring tools a plus (Imperva, Oracle Audit Vault and/or Database Firewall).
Thorough understanding of complex TCP/IP networks.
