Role : Automation Test Engineer

Location : Omaha,NE

Duration : 6+ Months

Rate : $45/hr on C2C(Max)

Job Description :

--Provide deliverables around test planning, test design, test scripting, and test execution
--Understanding business needs and map out and develop test cases per application requirements
--Analyze and document defects and ensure proper test coverage
--Supply knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions and processes.
--Ability to perform a dual role (manual and automated testing) for a while as they progress through the project. Utilize the existing test automation framework and extend the scripts that have been started and maintain and run them going forward.

Requirements:
--Must have a strong Technical Automation Testing background
--Our client is looking for these individuals to have experience not only running but developing and maintaining automation scripts
--Ability to write and execute test scripts based upon functional testing requirements
--Must be well-versed in automation strategy and planning
--Knowledge of Mobile Automation Testing

Skills Required for Automation
--SQL very good with SQL, not casual usage and query creation
--Rational Test Complete (desirable)
--Can perform end to end tests across the system/program
--GUI Verification Point Testing/Web Application Tests
--API layer automation (XML, HTML, Java)
--Backend Web Services testing
--Able to Debug scripts
--Able to do root cause analysis
--Must be able to research problems
--Can create multiple test data sets
--Able to work with multiple types of data
--Cable to create data that emulates production data
--Experience with testing Mobile Technologies
--Experience with Virtual Mobile Testing Applications
--Experience with integration testing
--Experience with build verification testing
--Experience in developing real world test scenarios
--Ability to analyze test coverage and determine how to optimize and expand it through automation
--Experience in testing Restful Web Services

Education:
--Bachelor's degree or equivalent along with at least 4 years direct experience in Software Development test planning and analysis along with test execution, test data management, and defect management of multiple projects within a release
--3-5 years experience in software test automation and tools
