Job Description:

Under limited supervision the IT Integration Developer will contribute in the development and maintenance of the back office enterprise technology.

The IT Developer will be responsible for the support and development of systems, processes, and technologies that integrate between the back-office systems . This position requires functional and technical skills, and the ability to build strong relationships that will help deliver value for the organization

The IT Developer will be responsible for developing programs to support the business needs, and by maintaining and developing coding best practices and standards. The individual will be responsible for providing support to the production system as level II or III tier and as needed.

The IT Developer will work on projects and enhancements along with a team of project managers, analysts, infrastructure engineers, and architects. The individual will have the technical proficiency to recommend, develop and deliver quality solutions across the enterprise.

Essential Job Function (Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Ability to understand the existing architecture and implement new SOA integration based on the architecture

Experience writing and maintaining application software documentation, including scope requirements, logical designs, technical designs, testing plans, and more

Collaborate with business and technical teams to create and implement industry leading solutions.

Proficiently manage all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle.

Develop solution deliverables ensuring expectations of stakeholders are met.

Comply with security and governance policies and procedures.

Investigate post-implementation problems and initiate solutions.

Gather, develop, coordinate, and maintain technical documentation such as process flows, system specifications, and diagrammatic models for systems from planning phase to final implementation, assuring requirements meet acceptance standards

Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect, and results of systems problems including root cause analysis through problem ticket resolution.

Apply technology and business knowledge to solve business problems

Technical Knowledge:

3+ years of experience with Java ESB frameworks (Fuse ESB is preferred), Maven, Apache Camel, and OSGI (Apache Karaf is preferred)

Open-source skills with ServiceMix and Camel

Strong development experience in Core Java, Spring, JMS/MQ/JDBC, and XML SOAP/CXF

Experience installing and testing application software in UNIX/Linux operating systems; ability to develop and execute scripts

Experience with SOAP/RESTful web service development (Apache CXF is preferred)

Good knowledge of RDBMS such as SQL Server; skilled in development and tuning of SQL queries

Require strong communication skills and the ability to understand and simplify complex material

Experience with formal development life cycles and business requirements methodologies and tools

A demonstrated successful track record of delivering projects of medium or above priority and risk is required

Experience with various business process and system modeling tools such as: Data Flow, Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios

An ability to quickly recognize solutions to arising issues

Strong application support and problem solving skills

An ability to identify and leverage department resources to accomplish goals

Ability to work well with all levels of resources in the organization

Performance-based enterprise and strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work collaboratively cross functionally

Education:

BS/BA, prefer
