OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The Agile Coach will
Be responsible for coordinating with Business Product Managers/Owners and IT Teams in order to align agile coaching strategies and practices based on Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and other frameworks.
Work closely with partners, particularly Project Managers/Owners and Business Leaders to evaluate how teams work together, develop strategies around how agile principles can be effectively leveraged to improve the ability for Product Teams to deliver, and ultimately ensure these concepts and practices are reflected in the coaching provided to the Product Teams.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that newly-implemented systems or procedures are working as planned.
Promote enterprise-wide adoption of best practices and repeatable processes.
Introduce Agile principles and Scrum to distributed project teams. Deliver training, when needed, through full day and multiday seminars.
Mentor Scrum Masters in Test Driven Development, release and iteration planning, and retrospectives. Assist Scrum Masters and Product Owners in facilitation techniques for all Scrum events.
The Agile Coach should be available and flexible to help as situations and needs arise, working closely with group/team leadership to ensure swift and proper resolution of issues brought up by team members. Works with the Scrum Masters to ensure that the correct process is carried out in each team Works with the Product Owners to help them understand and be successful within the process Communicates between teams, facilitating sharing details/knowledge Works closely with stakeholders to make them feel comfortable with the process Helps to remove blocking issues for a team Is the go-to person when people don't know who to go to when issues arise within a team May perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree
Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, Product Owner, etc.)
2+ years of Agile coaching experience
4+ years of Agile work experience on Agile teams
Experience leading large organizations/enterprise through Agile and product team transformations
Strong communication and listening skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Leading coaching and learning programs for product teams
DevOps experience (build automation, test automation, test driven development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Development (CD), Infrastructure as code, etc.)
Technical/development experience (java/other coding, scripting, infrastructure development, application development)
Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
Ability to write and develop instructional content (including training programs, written procedures, or any other instructional material)
Consulting Experience a Plus
