Job Description:

  • Very large application that was built by a long term employee that recently retired- he was the sole developer- did leave his laptop that has all of the source code and all of the tools installed on it-
  • It has been recently having issues- web service calls (HTTP) are not going through accurately. Manager is not technical enough to dive and see what the issues are.
  • They are going to need someone who is comfortable going into an environment blind, look at the source good, digest what they have and then address them.
  • This is an immediate need- October 1st- the will have to make a lot of changes per Medicare- so there will be UI work to be done- as well as all the backend.
  • Looking for an expert level Python Developer who knows Python Version 2.6.6 inside and out.
  • Currently running on MYSQL.
  • Must have experience using tools such as Django, Flex, Mod-WSGI, Apache and Tomcat
