With their expertise in a specific technology environment, Applications Consultants are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as tes
ting, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE). Thes
e roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.

Required Skills and Experience:

You focus on building solutions and on maintaining, optimizing and improving a clients applications and systems. You contribute to a business and technical blu
eprint and customize the respective Software Package Core Module. You may also be responsible for unit testing, contribute to integration testing, and/or be res
ponsible for the design and delivery of end-user training.

Qualification: Minimum 3 years experience, Bachelors Degree.
Certification: Should have or seeking SE or ERP/SAP Level 1.
Should be proficient in Package Configuration.
Should have progressing skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management

Duties:
Tivoli Scheduling
Browse and monitor job streams and jobs
Analyze job errors and job stream errors
Create job streams and jobs via Tivoli Dynamic Workload Console (TDWC)
Create job streams and jobs via text file suitable for import into the Tivoli database

Design and develop bash/ksh scripts for file movement and file encryption/decryption on Linux servers

Support test efforts
analyze data flow failures (learn the general data flow then open logs, SAP Sirax, etc. to determine failure points)
take steps to remediate data flow failures
use existing tools/documents to find and load data as requested by various test teams

Support new Sirax Functionality
Create/validate inbound/outbound interfaces
Request directory creation
Request directory permission changes
Plan data flow

Support change
Plan and write change requests
build and test backout plans
create Service Requests to get help from other teams

Collect data files from Linux servers (Winscp) as requested by Business Analysts
Support research as requested by Business Analysts

Ability to manage projects and self with minimal oversight; must be able to also work in a team environment
This position requires direct contact with the end users, IT staff and internal team members. Remote contact to offshore team members and Infrastructrure Manag
ement, DBA and Help Desk is also required.
High level of problem solving skills to handle complex software and interface support issues. Working quickly and efficently to coordinate analysis and solut
ioning with other Capgemini team members, clients and external vendor
