Looking for a Lead Solution Architect in Cary, NC!Job Description: A Program Architect that will work with program leads to understand the program’s business strategy and develop the technology strategy, current, transitional reference (current and future state) architectures and roadmaps. This individual will work with solution architects and application development teams to ensure implementations align to the defined strategy. They will track changing business trends and technology to refine artifacts. In addition, they will be actively involved in evaluating technology options to satisfy evolving and changing modern operational and data management capability needs.Primary Responsibilities:• Lead the development of technology strategies for their transformational programs• Develop program FSA (Future State Architecture) and roadmap. Identify and support opportunities to execute on roadmap• Develop technology capability models (aligned to the Capability Model), technology gaps and reuse opportunities in support of business needs and objectives• Develop and foster relationships with the domain subject matter experts (business technical)• Develop and own reference architectures and models collaboratively across programs, Enterprise Architecture and Application Development organizations.• Maintain end-to-end view of the program strategy, processes and the underlying technologies used to achieve the strategy while also seeking emerging technologies that positively impact the business domain strategies and processes• Establish and communicate strategy, reference architecture, blueprint and roadmap to senior management while developing teams through presentations, mentoring, training and other appropriate means and forums• Actively participate in the evaluation of emerging technologies• Keep abreast of leading changes in their field of expertise and evaluate for impact on strategic roadmaps and applicability for adoption/obsolescence• Conduct technical research in collaboration with Technical Architecture to identify and introduce new technical components into the environment that address required capabilities• Collaboratively ensure reuse of data and technical components within and across programsRequired Qualifications:• 5+ years of professional experience in information technology (engineering and/or architecture)• 5+ years of experience as a portfolio architect working with application or data integration• 5+ years of experience leading end to end architecture process• Experience creating and delivering professional presentations to senior business leaders• Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas (both verbally and in writing) to executives• Experience defining solution architecture for enterprise IT• Experience with architectural diagramming using Microsoft Visio 2010+Preferred Qualifications:• Financial Services / Banking / Insurance Industry Experience, especially Global• Experience working with Global teams, and in multiple countries• Familiarity with “Systemically Important Financial Institution” (SIFI) designation• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related technical field• Experience with PeopleSoft Finance• Experience with Informatica• Experience with Big Data (Hadoop) architecture
