Description:

  • This position will be a hands-on role in IT responsible for Implementation and solution design of Oracle Agile Product Life Management (PLM) including Agile Product Collaboration and integration with all other related systems.
  • This will be a highly visible role supporting our client’s Product Development and Quality business teams to maintain and manage the growing number of Item definitions and Change Controls for their products and also supporting their supply chain team to implement those formulas, BOMs, etc., in Oracle EBS applications.
  • Work closely with Agile implementation team that consists of external consultants, internal business teams from Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain operations, and the internal IT team to understand the requirements and participate/contribute in requirement gathering workshops and solution design sessions.
  • Elaborate and map business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert (SME) for all Agile PLM system modules including Product Collaboration (PC) and Product Portfolio Management (PPM) providing feasibility analysis, solution design, new functionality implementation.
  • Own the Agile PLM system in terms of system configuration, solution and development. Cross train internal IT team on Agile features, functionality and integrations.
  • Coordinate with business users and development teams to work towards an efficient solution based on acceptable trade-offs.
  • As a lead technical architect for the Agile PLM solutions, work with internal and external technical team and DBA team on all technical solutions.
  • Lead the technical design and development of the integration between Agile and Oracle EBS using Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) Process Integration Pack (PIP).
  • Be responsible for identifying and designing reports and analytics for Agile PLM.
  • Work with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain Operations business teams to gather requirements for ongoing future enhancements related to Agile PLM and integrations and work with IT team to design and implement solutions to handle those requirements.
  • Conduct unit and system testing for all Agile-related components and coordinate and participate in user workshops, UAT, and user training.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and Oracle support to troubleshoot and resolve any system related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise applications using systems development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • 8+ years of experience in the design, configuration, development, and implementation of Oracle Agile PLM system. Experience in configuration of product attributes, defining privileges/roles, user groups, etc.
  • Possess experience in implementing Oracle PLM for multiple companies.
  • Experience with Agile Product Collaboration (PC) module. Experience with other Agile modules like Portfolio Management, Product Costing, and Product Quality will be a plus.
  • Experience in Oracle EBS R12, mainly in Inventory and OPM modules.
  • Experience in designing and implementing any PLM system for process manufacturing and pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of initiating and creating new products and bill of materials in Agile, releasing them as ECOs to ERP system.
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing extensions to Agile and integrating new and changes to items and BOMs within the Oracle EBS system through Oracle Agile AIA, PIP, or other methodology.
  • Ability to integrate Agile with other systems like Oracle PDH, ERP systems.
  • Experience in PIP queue processing, DVM mapping, and custom DVM mapping.
  • Experience with Agile Data Migrations.
