• Vendor Experience –including working with off the shelf applications/Non-propriety
Job Description-
Scope: Our client is supporting multiple lines of business within the Investment Division along with the systems people at the corporate level; we are looking for professionals that have business domain systems knowledge in the Investments/Asset Management Arena.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of recent Derivatives Experience
- Recent experience writing requirements documents, not just putting a presentation of project flows together (writing examples would be a huge plus)
- Extensive work within Investments/Asset management industry
- Vendor Experience –including working with off the shelf applications/Non-propriety
Nice to Haves:
- Experience using iterative/agile/RUP methodologies
- SQL experience (general queries, add/delete, joins)
- Visio- Huge Plus
General Responsibilities:
- Proven ability to deliver successful initiatives in a timely manner based on project success criteria and team goals
- Ensures high quality business requirements; including being able to document in various formats including BRD, Data Mapping Spreadsheets, User Cases, User Stories
- Presentations to senior management, project team members and steering committees
- Ability to ensure a heavy level of collaboration with Information Services partners, for example: Quality Assurance, Development, to ensure successful, quick delivery
- Ability to identify raise key risks, issues and dependencies
- Complex stakeholder management
- The ability to formulate and manage Business Analysis work plans and Business Analysts; You will assume the role of senior advisor, teacher, mentor and expert to more junior members of the organization
- Able to contribute to our team’s and organization's continuous improvement
- Ensures adherence to our project methodologies and Business Unit strategies; familiarity with Agile SCRUM and RUP/iterative development
- Ability to prepare and present strategic plans for developing large-scale systems
- Process modelling and analysis skills including but not limited to process improvements, gap analysis between current and future state along with root cause analysis
