1. 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Requirements gathering
- User interfacing
- Process oriented and the ability to help define processes
2. Documentation experience
- Senior level ability within documentation ability
- Exposure or experience with technical writing
- OneSumX is a reporting tool used to improve accuracy, timeliness, quality, and efficiency of regulatory reporting requirements- this is what the BA’s will be using. Previous experience with this tool is a huge plus, but others that are more common are Visio, Word, etc.
3. Financial Industry experience
- Previous project experience in a Financial environment

Job Description:
• Falls within the Finance PMO
• The Hedging Platform team at Transamerica is looking to improve in house controls within the hedging team.
• They need to evaluate current information to make sure they have properly defined documents to achieve goals.
• Making sure there is a defined process in place is a priority and focusing on the controls and making sure they are well documented.
• The scope of this project is defined and they have high level milestones/timeline deadlines in place. Some of the work/deliverables will go into 2017.
• The IT team is responsible for feeding data into financials and have this information be fully documented and clearly defined so that is it easy to identify any issues.
• There are a lot of regulations and auditing/industry standards. There are gaps in the process for this piece of their business right now.
• They need up to 4 resources to help with this. These resources need to have strong Business Analyst skills, be self-starters, own and drive process, and have very strong documentation skills.
• They need to understand users, process control management, and have financial/investments/derivatives/hedging industry experience.
