The goals and objectives of the assessment are as follows:
- Provide a current state application services assessment.
- Review the methodology and implementation of application development services.
- Conduct necessary interviews to understand the agency’s goals, capabilities, existing systems/environments and long-term application support needs.
- Identify targeted shifts in the organization required to support long term strategy and business goals.
- Recommend how to approach the organizational change required to implement the recommendations in the development and support of applications.
- Improve application serviceability, delivery, and performance.
- Provide training and mentoring to application development management and staff.
Candidate Information
The ideal candidate would have experience with the following areas:
- Application Development system infrastructure, enterprise architecture, application delivery, performance and best practices.
- Cloud-based application development platforms.
- Legacy application migration and modernization.
- Technologies : PowerBuilder, Mainframe, Java, Salesforce, and IBM Case Manager
