Required Skills & Exp.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and human interaction skills background, and the ability to understand, learn, and effectively communicate (both verbally and compositionally) complex technical concepts and issues. While this is not a hands-on technical role, the candidate should possess a solid experience and understanding of technical concepts:
· Knowledge of LAN/WAN concepts and troubleshooting practices in an Enterprise environment.
· Experience working with Windows Server 2008, Linux, and ESX.
· Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, including GPO management.
· Software updates and hot fix management procedures.
· Enterprise monitoring capabilities.
· Knowledge of storage and backups.
· The documentation of hosted infrastructure.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Highly motivated self-starter that is able to work independently or as a member of a team.
· Possess a sense of urgency with complete follow-through.
· Able to work in a dynamic self-directed team.
Desired Skills:
ITIL Certification
System Center experience
High proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Visio)
Experience with SLA and Performance reporting
PM
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 4-7 years job related experience.
