Job Description
We are seeking multiple Legal Assistants for a 12 month contract in Nashville, TN. These roles will be a hybrid role consisting of remote and onsite/in office work. There will be an extensive training period of up to 6 weeks for these roles.
In this role, you will:
- Help determine individual and family eligibility for approved programs
- Communicate critical information to clients.
- Contributes to case preparation through administration and research.
- Conduct client interviews, collect facts and information, and compile case data to provide recommendations to an attorney.
- Legal research, analysis of legal papers, and drafting legal documents.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor or Associate Degree Required
- Paralegal studies / Legal experience a plus!
- Customer service or call center experience
- Computer skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including, building / updating/maintaining spreadsheets / documents, and utilizing Outlook for communications
- Multitasker
- Able to work efficiently / effectively in multiple databases to extract information
- Timely management of casework, including proper documentation and case resolution
- Able to professionally pivot work demands/tasks to support the business unit
- Researcher
- Able to research/review case information and document findings accurately
- Detail oriented
- Strong Communicator
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient writer able to send clear, concise emails, including timely responses

Additional Information
This 12-month contract role is located in Nashville, TN. This role will have a 6 week training period and will then work a hybrid schedule of remote and onsite.
