Job Description

We are seeking an IT Network Administrator for a full-time/permanent role in Denver, CO (downtown).  

This direct hire/permanent will be located in downtown Denver, CO. This role will start off remote until it is determined to report onsite to the office in Denver.  Due to this, interested candidates who currently reside in the Denver area or interested candidates who will be relocating to the Denver area are encouraged to apply.  

  • Monitors, configures, tracks, and maintains hardware assets including but not limited to routers and switches
  • Provides configuration and maintenance services for
    • Cisco Environment
    • DHCP Services
    • Internal and External DNS
    • VoIP Phone system
  • Administers the Storage Area Network
  • Provides research, procurement, and renewal services for network domains
  • Researches, procures, monitors and renews Security Certificates. Installs these certificates as needed
  • Acts as the backup for Firewall Administration at all company sites. This includes but is not limited to configuration and monitoring of firewalls as well as making changes to firewall configurations to allow or disallow traffic from specific IP locations
  • Acts as backup for NetScaler Administration including configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting NetScaler services
  • Monitors and reports on network health including but not limited to troubleshooting traffic throughput issues, storage issues, circuit connectivity issues, and hardware lifecycles
  • Documents network configurations from the macro (entire network) to the micro (network subsystems and segments) and makes these documents available to the IT staff and third party consultants as needed
  • Provides data backup administration and configuration including but not limited to managing the data sources being backed up, managing the backup location, testing backed up data sources to ensure viability, monitoring backups and ensuring that they run to completion, and addressing any backup configuration or hardware/software issues
  • Participates in the Infrastructure Unit on call rotation for afterhours support and outage troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing corporate IT infrastructure components including servers is preferred, as is experience within a professional services environment
  • Working experience within a Cisco environment 
  • Meraki knowledge or experience 
  • MPLS expereince 
  • Four-year college degree preferred, equivalent work experience considered. High school diploma or GED required.
