Job Description

We are seeking a Software Developer for a direct-hire/permanent role near Atlanta, GA.  In this role, you will be developing and modifying applications in an open-source environment.  You can pick your object-oriented language to start; however, most of the new application and product development will be in Go.    Additional responsibilities include: 

• Design Open Source Linux-based applications tailored to internal and external customer requests for products utilized by consumers and businesses globally. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features and enhancements
• Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis
• Fix bugs and improve system performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with any of the following languages: Go, Java, C++ or C
• 5+ years working experience of software engineering 
• 5+ years of Linux/Unix development, shell and python scripting experience
• Familiarity with Networking and TCP based protocols
• Experience in developing systems for high reliability and scalability
• Understanding of network management and security
