Cleaver Brooks is looking for an Engineering Intern – Spare Parts (Boiler Room Equipment) to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This intern will gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting the creation and management of spare parts lists for industrial boiler room systems. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical and documentation skills in a real-world setting, while learning how engineering supports aftermarket service and equipment reliability.
As an intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and Parts Analysts to identify, catalog, and maintain accurate parts information for complex thermal systems including boilers, burners, pumps, controls, and auxiliary components.

Job Location: Milwaukee, WI
What You’ll Do:
- Review engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical specifications to create spare parts lists for boiler room equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to verify part accuracy and compatibility.
- Organize and generate spare parts lists within internal databases and IFS systems.
- Help identify alternative or replacement components for obsolete parts.
- Participate in engineering and service team meetings to gain exposure to product lifecycle support practices.

- Strong attention to detail and good organizational habits.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to team goals in a professional engineering environment.
Nice to Have (But Not Required):
- Experience with Excel VBA Coding.
- Coursework or experience related to thermal systems, HVAC, or industrial equipment.
- Experience with spare parts planning, maintenance engineering, or field service operations.
- Previous internship or project experience in a manufacturing or engineering support role.
