Clarifi Staffing Solutions is currently seeking compassionate and qualified School Nurses to join our team for both Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY) programs in Illinois. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of students, providing essential nursing care, and supporting the educational environment. Responsibilities:

• Assess student health needs and provide nursing care for students with acute and chronic health conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor students with special health needs, including those with allergies, diabetes, asthma, and other medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans (IHCPs) and emergency action plans (EAPs) for students with complex health needs.
• Educate students, families, and school staff on health-related topics, including medication management, first aid, and emergency response.
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to promote a safe and healthy school environment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, medical histories, and incident reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, to support student success and well-being.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• Certification in School Nursing or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in a healthcare or school setting is preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to promoting health and wellness in the school community.
