- Offer consultations as necessary.
- Ensure timely updates of treatment plans.
- Contribute to ongoing quality enhancement efforts.
- Maintain weekly documentation of student progress.
- Provide supervision to occupational therapy assistants, interns, or students.
- Conduct assessments and administer treatment to students individually or in group settings.
- Design and organize comprehensive active treatment groups and individual treatment plans for student caseload, utilizing evidence-based occupational therapy practices.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist Assistant program.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques.
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized accrediting body.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
