As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the holistic development of our students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional well-being.
Duties Inculde:
- Conduct psychological assessments to inform educational decisions.
- Travel to various school sites as required, with travel expenses reimbursed.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and consultations.
- Provide crisis intervention services, assessing risk and coordinating responses.
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Adhere to ethical standards set by professional associations and licensing boards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to implement effective interventions and support strategies.
Requirements
- Possess Master’s Degree in School Psychology
- Hold or be eligible to apply for a Illinois PEL certification
- School psychology license in the state of Illinois is required
