Clarifi Staffing Solutions is currently seeking full-time Special Education Teachers to work with school-aged students in the elementary school setting.

During the 2024-2025 school year, the Special Education Teacher will be responsible for effectively collaborating with the student’s academic support team to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student on the caseload. The Special Education Teacher will also monitor student goals and prepare quarterly progress reports.

Responsibilities:

• Providing students with instructional materials that address individualized learning plans within established lesson plans.
• Administering developmental testing programs, subject-specific assessments, etc., to assess student competency levels and develop individual learning plans.
• Advising parents and/or legal guardians of student progress, communicating expectations, achievements, and developing methods for improvement or reinforcing classroom goals in the home environment.
• Assessing student progress towards objectives, expectations, and/or goals.
• Collaborating with instructional staff, other school personnel, parents, and community resources to improve overall student outcomes.
• Demonstrating methods required to perform classroom and/or subject-specific assignments to provide an effective program addressing individual student requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Teaching certification in the state of Illinois endorsed in special education (LBS1).
