- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to establish therapy goals and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development activities.
- Educate clients and their families about communication and swallowing disorders, as well as strategies for improving speech, language, and swallowing function.
- Provide therapy services to clients with various communication and swallowing disorders, including articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and swallowing difficulties.
Requirements
- Must hold ASHA certification to be considered.
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.
- Eligibility for or possession of an SLP license in Illinois is necessary.
- CFYs are welcome to apply and will receive dedicated supervision to support their professional development.
