BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST NEEDED

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate clients' communication abilities in both English and Spanish.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' speech, language, and communication goals using evidence-based practices.
  • Provide therapy services to clients with various communication disorders, including articulation, language delays, fluency disorders, and pragmatic language difficulties.
  • Offer support and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication skills and promote functional communication in daily activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and optimize clients' outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and [Specify second language].
  • Current Illinois license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
