Position Overview:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our daily operations. From entering prescriptions to consulting with pharmacists, your contributions will make a difference. We're looking for responsible professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at multitasking. This role is on-site at our Cheshire, CT closed-door pharmacy.

Salary: $15.75 to $19 an hour (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive prescriptions via phone or in-person

• Accurately fill daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision

• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycling/disposing as per procedure

• Help prepack frequently ordered medications and label them accordingly

• Package materials and products manually

• Maintain workstation areas and restock supplies as needed

• Adhere to all applicable regulations including HIPAA

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Pharmacy Technician license preferred, but not required
