Assistant Manager-Citizens Syosset Location Pickwick location Tues -Thurs 3-11p, Frid and Sat 7 - 3p 40 hrs per week
The pay scale for this position is $17.00-$18.00 in consideration of experience
Citizens offers a variety of residential supports based upon the level of support and supervision required by each person to include Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA’s) and Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF’s).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New York State Driver’s License that is also qualified in accordance with agency’s insurance standards
- One year experience supporting people with ID/DD
- Good oral and written communication skills; successful completion and maintenance of AMAP status
- Good organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude.
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Practices and promotes the agency’s mission statement in every interaction
- Assists the Manager in maintaining and supervising Direct Support Professional Staff to ensure they are supporting people to become active participants in every aspect of their lives
- Provides direct support as dictated by house staffing pattern and/or house needs
