Job Description

Nurse Recruiter:

A Nurse Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and hiring qualified nurses to meet the staffing needs of Christian Care Communities facilities throughout the state of Kentucky. You will work closely with hiring managers to create job postings, source candidates, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts phone and in-person interviews to screen candidates
  • Coordinates interviews with hiring managers and other team members
  • Makes hiring recommendations and negotiates job offers
  • Maintains accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Utilize ATS (LOXO) for organizational recruiting efforts, reviewing applicant information and managing open requisitions.
  • Recruit nurses via cold calling, excel lead spreadsheets, Indeed, LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, and internal referrals.
  • Provide training and recommend training opportunities including utilization of online sources, Indeed, CareerBuilder, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIN and other sources
  • Maintain ATS files for candidates; process approved candidate files forward and effectively disposition reject candidate files.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Nursing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or staffing, preferably in healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
