 ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Functional Family Therapy

Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an effective, short-term, evidence-based family therapy service for 11-17 and their families. This high quality, strength-focused family therapy model is designed to be short term and is provided in home and community settings.  Therapists carry small caseloads of 10-12 families and see families for sessions once a week. FFT model specific training is provided for all new staff and weekly clinical supervision and team meetings help enhance and grow your clinical skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with fidelity to evidence based model;
  •  Performs home and community based care;
  •  Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes;
  •  Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served;
  •  Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers;
  •  Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis;
  •  Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports;
  •  Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy;
  •  Participates in weekly supervision, consultation and meetings to review client and program progress;
  •  Attends all required FFT trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education: Master’s Degree or higher in mental health field

Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with
people with mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders. Demonstrated training and experience in
all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation and provision of individual, group and
family therapy. Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned

Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, eligible. Licensed preferred

COMPENSATION*:

$60,496 minimum - $90,743 maximum, dependent upon experience

*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off of relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
