Essential Duties:

1. Supervise children and staff, create and implement lesson plans and build relationships with the community.
2. Create daily schedule of instructional activities for staff to follow.
3. Promotes the Before and Aftercare Program with innovative marketing techniques
4. Orders snacks and supplies and ensures proper storage and use.
5. Responsible to plan, promote and operate Summer, Winter, Spring Camp, and any or teacher work days.
6. Maintains EZCare Childcare Management registration and fee program
7. Maintenance of safe and welcoming classroom environment.
8. Prepares, forwards, and maintains files of records and reports required by the After School Snack Program.
9. Obtains and reviews financial records, identifies discrepancies, and confers with the CSA Program Manager for After Care.
10. Provide Academic enrichment through engaging activities for children of all ages. Encourages students to set and maintain standards of behavior.
11. Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, staff, equipment, materials and facilities.
12. Participates in required pick up procedures insuring that each student leaves with appropriate adult. (ID is REQUIRED even if they know the person picking up and must be verified with the pick-up list).
13. Provide strong recreational and educational activities.
14. Avoids unwarranted aftercare operations costs.
15. Communicates well with parents.
16. Maintains a professional attitude at all times.
17. Responsible for entering student information and attendance in aftercare computer system.
18. Comply with programs such as School Readiness.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree or certification as a childcare provider
• Must have prior experience operating a childcare program
• CPR trained
• Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Organized, energetic, innovative and professional.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written English communication skills.
