And what will you do?

Summary:   

The IT Product Manager oversees the development and delivery of software products that meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders. The Product Manager will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute it.   This role also conducts market research, user research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and product requirements.

Core Functions:

•    Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for software products or features.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, and sales, to deliver high-quality products that solve customer problems and create business value.
•    Conduct market research, user research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and product requirements.
•    Prioritize and manage the product backlog, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
•    Communicate the product vision, goals, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, such as executives, team members, customers, and partners.
•    Plan and coordinate product launches, including beta testing, feedback collection, documentation, and marketing campaigns.
•    Measure and evaluate the performance, impact, and user satisfaction of the product using various metrics and feedback tools.
•    Continuously iterate and improve the product based on user feedback, data insights, and market trends.

Education & Experience:     

Minimum Required:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
•    Proven experience in product management, preferably in the software industry.
•    Strong technical background and knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
•    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
•    Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and user feedback to guide product decisions.
•    Creative, innovative, and customer-centric mindset, with the ability to generate and validate new product ideas.
•    Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
•    MBA

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically. The work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive reading to perform the core functions listed in this job description. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and in a non-temperature-controlled environment. While performing the core function of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

Travel

Travel is required as needed throughout the year.  Travel can include conferences, site visits, customer/supplier/vendor trips and leadership offsites.
