Thirty years ago Cater to You Food Service began providing lunch programs to independent schools. Today, CTY prepares more than 13,000 fresh meals daily for students ranging from pre-schoolers to high school seniors. Our wholesome offerings are always created on-site, from scratch, using better-for-you premium products. Your pay:

$17.00

What you’ll be doing:

  • Customer Focus: Maintains CTY’s customer-driven approach to service.
  • Food Production: Follows standards that produce the highest quality product representing the CTY ideals of focusing on healthy, portion-controlled, and sustainable local foods.
  • Peel, dice, shred and slice food products using knives or electric equipment.
  • Wash and clean raw food products.
  • Follow proper portion control guidelines.
  • Keep work area and equipment neat and clean at all times.
  • Support and participate in common teamwork with all unit members.

What we’re looking for:

Skills: dressing emulsification vinaigrettes, vegetable identification, good knife skills, and kitchen etiquette.

Must-haves:

At least 2 years of prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking

Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.

Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools as well as identify and differentiate food items.

Customer service experience is required.
