Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
Maintenance Technician’s primary duty is to provide Machine Shop fabrication and electrical component repair. This role will work collaboratively with multiple functions and departments to ensure equipment and associated production systems operate in a safe, and quality-oriented manner. Responsibilities include: providing training and assessment support for equipment operation, set-up, changeover, and troubleshooting, providing recommendations and implementing solutions to resolve equipment and/or process problems in a timely manner, creating and revising GMP as it relates to equipment activities, supporting or owning work orders and preventative maintenance and calibrations. Individual fabrication, complex repair, and machining experience are necessary.
Monday - Friday: 8 hour shifts 7 AM - 3:30 PM
The Role
Utilizes mechanical, Machining, and/or electrical skills to design and repair various equipment types
Ability to read and understand technical diagrams/Drawings
determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience
Safely performs work in accordance with company policies and procedures
Provide training support for equipment set-up, operation, and changeover.
The Candidate
Associate degree with 1+ years of relevant experience; High School diploma with 3+years of relevant experience or vocational training
Technical Certificate or higher preferred
Possesses intermediate mechanical and/or electrical skills and education
Basic machine shop and hand tools skills
Computer skills/Electronic work orders
Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements.
