  1. Follow company safety policies and practices.
  2. Read and interpret construction drawings.
  3. Verify that work meets quality requirements per the specifications and drawings.
  4. Layout assigned tasks.
  5. Perform accurate measurement for cutting and assembling of materials.
  6. Cut lumber using power tools.
  7. Have knowledge and experience in the safe use of all carpenter tools including hand tools and power tools.
  8. Cleanup work areas. Maintain good housekeeping on the jobsite.
  9. Load or unload materials to be used on the jobsite.
  10. Carry or deliver materials and tools to the designated work area.
  11. Use hand tools to dig, backfill or fine grade areas for concrete pours.
  12. Build forms and remove forms.
  13. Layout formwork.
  14. Assist with concrete placement.
  15. Erect scaffolding.
  16. Climb ladders or scaffolding as required.
  17. Construct temporary dust walls.
  18. Perform selected demolition using hand tools as directed by the supervisor.
  19. Assist supervisor or other craft workers with work as directed by the supervisor.
  20. Physical Requirements –
    1. Standing and climbing 6 to 8 hours per day.
    2. Kneeling, lifting, reaching above shoulders and bending (90 degrees) 4 to 6 hours per day.
    3. Twisting (180 degrees) 2 to 4 hours per day.
    4. Squatting and sitting 1 to 2 hours per day.
    5. Lifting weights of 1 to 100 lbs.
    6. Ability to lift from floor to above the shoulder.
  21. Must be able to perform general construction work proficiently.
  22. Must be dependable.
