We offer our customers a “one-stop shopping” experience by producing aggregates, recycled aggregates, asphalt, concrete and a full line of grading and paving contracting services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• The pipelayer for the utility crew lays pipe for storm or sanitation sewer drains and water mains.
• Perform any combination of the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or deal joints.
•Operate/drives equipment to excavate, move material, and grade in a safe manner as needed.
• This position may perform other duties on the crew as needed.
• Complete written report of problems or necessary repairs to equipment and forward to maintenance personnel. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License is preferred.
Required Experiences
- EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of related experience and/or training.
