Job Summary

Responsible for supervising and administering all clinical aspects of patients nutritional care.

Duties and Responsibilities

Screen and assess patient痴 nutritional status and develop a nutritional care plan to meet individual needs.

Instruct patients and their families when appropriate to follow appropriate therapeutic diets.

Participates in consultations about patient痴 nutritional therapy with the staff.

Monitor the ongoing nutrition-support. Provide appropriate documentation on patient痴 forms.

Oversee work of others by assigning work and providing guidance as needed

Participate in team conferences to plan patient care plans.

Assume supervisory responsibilities in absence of Department Head.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor痴 degree in Nutrition and a minimum of one year痴 job-related experience or equivalent is required.

American Dietetic Registration is also required.

DOE (Diabetes Outpatient Education Certification) required.
